No More Google Reader

It is such a sad time in the bloggy world... the end of Google Reader is quickly approaching. I have been pretending it wasn't really going to happen. Like Google would just change their mind because the bloggy world is in an uproar. However, I have decided to make the leap. I did some research on what website I would use in place of ol' trusty Reader. I looked into Feedly, The Old Reader, and Bloglovin'. At the end of the day, I had to decide what my favorite parts of Reader were and how I used it. My favorite feature of Google Reader was the "Next" button at the top of my browser so I could view all of the blogs in their original form. I liked to see the blog designs and pictures lined up properly as the blogger intended.

Insert.... Bloglovin'!

So far, so good. I created an account and imported my blog list from Reader in about 2 minutes (just by clicking one button). It was super easy! Also, I am able to view the blogs in their original form by clicking on one. It opens it in a new window, which then has buttons across the top such as "older," "newer," "oldest." So far, I am really liking it! It is simple and easy to use. It has all the parts of Reader that I loved.

I have read that Bloglovin' does not transfer over folders if you have filed things in Reader, but luckily I am not that organized! So no loss there.

Any other people out there a Bloglovin' fan? You can follow my blog on Bloglovin' using the button on the side of my blog!
